RESA has been active before both the state Legislature and the Board of Public Utilities on issues relating to the state’s solar energy development program and competitive electricity contracts.
RESA has petitioned the Board of Public Utilities for a rulemaking proceeding to require each electric distribution company and gas public utility to make a non-recourse purchase of receivables program available to each third-party supplier in its service territory.
