Harrisburg, PA – The Retail Energy Supply Association (RESA), the nation’s leading trade association representing competitive retail energy suppliers, has elected a new slate of officers and state chairs for 2016. These newly elected officers were confirmed during RESA’s annual meeting last month, and will form the executive committee.

RESA’s officers effective Jan. 1, 2016 are:

Competitive Energy Suppliers Petition for Meaningful Electric Competition on Long Island

January 5, 2015

Harrisburg, PA — The Retail Energy Supply Association (RESA) today formally petitioned the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) to conduct an investigation into the lack of meaningful retail electricity choice for consumers in Long Island. The investigation should have the goal of identifying measures that can be implemented to allow a meaningful and robust retail energy market and competitive choice on Long Island, RESA said.
